Why so serious?

Joker is the second most scary character i have read and seen. his words 'why so serious haunted almost for a week when I first saw dark knights. this character was created by Jerry Robinson, Bill Finger and Bob Kane in  DC comics. He is a super villain in the batman series. throughout his comic series the Joker is portrayed as a master criminal whose characterization has varied.the original and currently dominant image is of a highly intelligent psychopath with a warped, sadistic sense of humour, while other versions have played varying emphasis on humour, eccentricity and pranks.
Heath ledger who played the most scary Joker, earned himself the Academy Award for best supporting Actor for the same in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knights.

Hannibal Lecter

Hannibal Lecter is the most horrifying characters I have ever read or seen in a story. He is a fictional character in a series of novels by author Thomas Harris. The character is introduced in the thriller novel Red Dragon (1981) as apsychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer. The novel and its sequel, The Silence of the Lambs (1988), feature Lecter as one of two primary antagonists. In the third novel, Hannibal (1999), Lecter becomes the main character. His role as protagonistand anti-hero occurs in the fourth novel, Hannibal Rising (2006), which explores his childhood and development into a serial killer. Lecter's character also appears in all five film adaptations.
The first film, Manhunter, based on Red Dragon, features Brian Cox as Lecter, spelled as "Lecktor". In 2002, a second adaptation of Red Dragon was made under the original title, featuring Anthony Hopkins, who had previously played Lecter in the motion pictures The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. Hopkins won an Academy Award for his performance of the character in The Silence of the Lambs in 1991. In 2003, Hannibal Lecter (as portrayed by Hopkins) was chosen by the American Film Institute as the #1 movie villain.

obsessed with stories

I have an extra ear for good stories. I want to read every possible story book and watch every good movie written or made in this world. I cannot runaway from the fact that everything that I see, hear or perceive in this world, somehow becomes a part of my world of stories.
Our lives our nothing but stories. Sometimes they are interesting and sometimes they are boring, but each story has got some fun elements. Its the way we perceive them. Every story has got a hero. And we are all heroes of at least our own lives. Some times we play a positive roles and some times we have negative shades.
In this obsession for stories I have irritated all lot of people who aren't interested in them. Telling stories is a small part of this obsession, trying to make people listen, trying to convince them over good stories, discussing the good and bad points makes my day but spoils their. I want to thank all my friends who have eaten up their heads just because of this small problem of mine and never complained. Thank you Guys.

Vertigo

All the movie lovers,
you cannot escape the fear of height. just kidding.. I am talking about Sir Alfred Hitchcock's film Vertigo. It is a 1958 American psychological thriller which has received rave reviews all over the world.
The story revolves around a retired police officer (James Stewart) who is suffering from Acrophobia. It is the fear for height. he is being hired as a private detective by rich businessman to investigate about his wife (Madeleine), to uncover the reasons for her strange behaviour. In the process Stewart falls for Madeleine.
Madeleine commits suicide and Stewart is unable to save her due to his fear for height. After some time of her death Stewart sees a girl who looks like Madeleine and he starts following her. The unknown girl tells him that she is Judy Barton from Kansas. they both start dating and Judy falls for Stewart. But in later stage we find that Judy is the same lady, Madeleine whom James was following. in the process of revelation of this fact Stewart realise that he has overcome his fear of height but all of sudden Madeleine again fells off from the same building.

Al Pacino

Al Pacino, most famous for playing Micheal Corleone in The Godfather trilogy is an Academy Award wining American film and theatre actor cum film director. Al Pacino is not a new name. He has been in hollywood since 1969, when he did his debut in a minor supporting role for Me, Natalie.
He got his major breakthrough in 1972 by The Godfather. This role got him nomination in best supporting actor category at Academy Awards. Since then he has not seen back.
Pacino got nominated for Best Actor category at Oscars for his roles in Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Justice for All and Scent of a Woman.
His film Scent of a Woman is one of my favourite films done by him. His performance as a retired Blind millitary official is breathtaking. He is so mesmerizing, that you will fall for him . He makes us cry in the scene of his suicidal attempt and he makes us laugh every time when does some leg-pulling of the other protagonist Charlie Simms. This is one of his masterpiece.

Julia & Julia

Julia & Julia , the first ever motion picture on a blog, is based on the lives of Famous French chef Julia Child and a young new yorker Julia Powell. The young girl Powell get aspires to cook all 524 recipes in Child's cookbook in 365 days, a challenge she described on her popular blog that would make her a published author.
This story is must watch for those who love to see comedy and drama together.
The film is directed by - Nora Ephron, starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.

The best part of the film is Meryl Streep wearing pearls in the kitchen." I mean who wears pearls in the kitchen while cooking." quoted by Julia Powell.

Phantoms

Phantoms is a novel written by best- selling author Dean Koontz. It is one of his best works. the story is about a town where two sisters live and are coming home from a vacation. when they reach the town, they find that every person of the town is either dead or lost. they somehow inform the neighboring town's police head quarter. Together with few police men they discover the cause for town's disappearance and deaths.
A victim of whatever was trying to kill him managed to write the name Timothy Flyte, on a mirror moments before he was killed. Flyte is a British academic and author of a book, The Ancient Enemy
It is discovered that the town was built over the hibernating place of this creature, an amoeboidshapeshifter. The Ancient Enemy rarely feeds, but when it does, the effects are devastating. It was theorized that the Enemy either caused or aided in the extinction of the dinosaurs, as well as many of the great mysterious mass vanishings: Mayan civilizationRoanoke, ghost ships, etc.
The creature consumes other life forms to increase its mass and is able to perfectly mimic other creatures. It can create small "probes" or "phantoms" imitating consumed life forms to go forth and hunt more prey, obeying the orders of its "hive mind;" in addition the creature absorbs the mental capacity of those it consumes.
Its only vital organ is a nucleus located in the center of its main body. The creature's cells are similar in molecular structure to fossil fuels; upon discovering this the scientists use oil-eating bacteria to destroy the Enemy's core or brain.
